NASVI brought together 200 street vendor leaders in New Delhi to discuss the upcoming Town Vending Committee (TVC) elections and strengthen awareness of vendors’ rights and responsibilities. Participants called for only practising street vendors with valid Certificates of Vending (CoV) to contest and vote in TVC elections, while also demanding greater transparency in the election process.
