NASVI’s Women Vendor Leader from Gurugram, Smt. Anita received the award from Shri Mohan Lal Badoli on Women’s Day for her dedication and continuous hard work in street vending. 

NASVI met with women street vendors of India Gate about the financial literacy training in Delhi. The women vendors showed enthusiasm and willingness to participate in the training. 

On 12th march 2025, nasvi organised a zoom meeting that brought together many street vendors who shared their concerns and suggestions regarding the PM SVANidhi scheme. The National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) continues its dedicated advocacy for the rights and welfare of street vendors across the country. Addressing critical issues such as the regularization of Town Vending Committees (TVCs), protection from harassment, and the establishment of designated vending zones, NASVI has submitted formal appeals to key government officials.

NASVI with the Droan Reri Patri Committee, held an important TVC Meeting in Gurgaon, where Street vendor leaders voiced their concerns and shared their vision for the future. Important issues of vending zones, women street vendors, survey and others were discussed.  Together, we continue the fight for better rights and opportunities for street vendors!
