The Ministry of Tourism has collaborated with NASVI for providing training to food vendors through its affiliated Hotel Management Institutes . The program named ‘Swach Bharat Swach Pakwan ‘ has set a target of training around 15,000 food vendors by March 2016
Work responsibilities of NASVI under this program is
1) Identify the food vendors city wise
2) Motivate the Food Vendors for Training
3) Document the training experience and share with Ministry
4) Maintain list of vendors who have undergone training
5) Interact continuously with Peer leaders
6) Monitor post training behavioral changes
7) Ensure that Street Vendors are evenly covered throughout
Trainings have already begun under this with around 1500 vendors aleady trained under the program
