Beyond the cultural flavors of the Culinary Art, Street Food Festival is wished-for for promotion of hygienic street food in the Indian cities. In the context of overrated and inflationary food prices, street food is more than just a Diet for a Diem to millions of urban dwellers. The craving for hygienic street food is a demand never satisfied the foodies; Street Food Festival 2012 tests the critic in you.
The social cause following this event, out there and in our city, for lakhs and crores of people “street food vending” provides a means of livelihood. Street vendors who are often stereotyped as sellers of unhealthy food are never given a chance to argue their case; least was any serious thinking about improvising their trade, giving them training and awareness on health, hygiene, and nutritious values.
On 14-16th December 2012 in Delhi showcases 50 street food stalls of selected food vendors from cities across the country. And the best of tastiest and unique will be awarded for the excellence in culinary Arts. The expert food critic panel will give their opinion on hygiene in stalls and excellence of their recipe.
NASVI welcomes you with delicious and healthy street food items, right from ‘Mathura Chat’ to ‘Hyderabadi biryani’ in the stalls…
