Wajiha Aziz – Program Manager
Her responsibilities include State Level Advocacy, City level meetings/ Leadership Promotion and Repo building at state Level. She is also responsible for facilitation in organizing and mobilizing street vendors organization as well as other informal workers for their right to livelihood and Social protection; Liaison with different Ministries such as Urban Development and Housing, Labour Resource, Social Welfare, and local self Government; outreach & partnership, advocacy, policy analysis and dialogues on issues of livelihoods, sustainable development, informal workers, women empowerment and governance.
Wajiha is an urban planner. She has done her bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning and Masters in Infrastructure planning from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
