Street Vendors of Janakpuri were getting evicted from their place of vending. Municipal corporation authorities were evicting the street vendors from their places and authorities were seizing their goods. In the last TVC Meeting, it was notified to allocate the space in the 64 vending zone to the registered street vendors and unfortunately, that has not also been implemented. The issue was taken to the Municipal Commissioner of Ludhiana and he assured with his conversation with the zonal incharge that steps will be taken to create vending zones and street vendors will not be harassed by the authorities.
