NASVI has formally written to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, demanding an immediate halt to evictions, restoration of vendors’ right to work, and strict adherence to the law.
Street vendors are lawful workers and an integral part of the city’s economy.
International events cannot be used as an excuse to deny them dignity and livelihood.
Ensure space for street vendors.
Declare permanent vending zones.
