NASVI and NIDAN recently conducted a two-day Staff Capacity Building Workshop aimed at strengthening internal alignment, improving understanding of organizational systems, and collectively shaping the future direction of both organizations.

The workshop brought together team members from different programs to engage in meaningful discussions around policies, program strategies, and long-term planning. It created a space not only for learning but also for reflection and open dialogue.

The first day focused on building context and clarity. Sessions included revisiting HR and POSH policies, discussions on finance and travel guidelines, and interactive activities such as the “Expectation Wall,” where participants shared their expectations from the workshop. Group discussions allowed teams to reflect on key operational areas like reporting, work coordination, and appraisal systems, making the sessions practical and grounded in real experiences.

The day also included collaborative activities such as peer discussions on strengths and growth opportunities, along with training on documentation and effective use of social media. These sessions aimed to enhance both individual and team capacities in communication and reporting.

The second day was centered around program-specific discussions and future planning. Program heads presented their work, key achievements, and upcoming roadmaps, covering areas such as street food, rural development, sanitation, and entrepreneurship. These presentations were followed by feedback sessions, encouraging cross-learning and deeper understanding among teams.

A key highlight was the discussion on the annual plan and the future vision of NASVI and NIDAN.
