On 18th November 2024 NASVI organised Street Vendor Leaders Community Meeting and Launch of Street Sathi Application. The meeting was attended by street vendor leaders of Delhi and graced by many eminent personalities. Deputy Mayor Delhi, Shri Aaley Mohammad Iqbal, Advocate Varun Singh, Shri Arbind Singh, Shri Rony Banerjee, Shri Tarun Tripathi and Shri Rakesh Ranjan inaugurated the meeting and application.
Street Sathi application is ready to enroll the street vendors across the country. NASVI is taking a significant step to empower street vendors by enrolling them in the Street Sarthi app, a platform designed to provide vendors with essential information and support. The app will help vendors access crucial resources related to their livelihood, safety, and legal rights. To facilitate this process, NASVI has set a nominal enrollment fee of 50 rupees per vendor, making the app accessible while ensuring that it reaches a wide range of street vendors across the country. By enrolling in the Street Sarthi app, vendors will benefit from improved access to services, better representation, and enhanced opportunities for livelihood protection and growth.
