For the first time in Mizoram, the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI), in collaboration with Nestlé India and with support from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Mizoram, organised a Serve Safe Food training programme for street food vendors in Aizawl. Supported by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) framework, the initiative focused on strengthening food safety practices and promoting hygienic street food vending across the state.
