Arbind Singh

Arbind Singh has been at the forefront of advancing the rights and livelihoods of street vendors in India. He played a key role in securing the National Policy for Street Vendors in 2004 and led the movement that resulted in the enactment of the Street Vendors Act, 2014. His advocacy contributed to the launch of the PM SVANidhi scheme, expanding access to institutional credit for millions of vendors. He also initiated NASVI Street Food Pvt. Ltd. and has guided the National Street Food Festival into becoming a landmark platform celebrating India's vibrant street food culture.
