On the occasion of National Vendors’ Day, Patna Mayor Ms. Sita Sahu stated that vending zones have already been identified at several locations across the city, while the selection process is underway in other areas. The Municipal Corporation is actively working to ensure that all vendors are properly organized, enabling them to carry out their businesses without difficulty.
The event, organized with the support of NASVI, also highlighted vendors’ rights, government schemes, and collective efforts toward creating a more inclusive and secure livelihood ecosystem for street vendors.
