NASVI has formally written to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, urging an immediate halt to eviction drives against street vendors being carried out without a functional Town Vending Committee.
The association has called for strict adherence to the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, and protection of vendors’ right to livelihood.
