Sangeeta Singh
With over 25 years in the social sector, Sangeeta Singh leads NASVI’s Street Food Program and heads Gender, Advocacy, and Enterprise Development at Nidan. She has driven key policy collaborations with institutions like FSSAI and led large-scale training of over 2 lakh street vendors across India. She also curated the National Street Food Festival as a platform to bring stakeholders together and strengthen recognition of street vendors. Her work has brought national and global visibility to street vendors, including representation in Street Food: Asia on Netflix.
Siya Mishra
Siya Mishra has been with NASVI for over seven years and coordinates street food programmes. As a FoSTaC trainer, she works closely with vendors across India, promoting food safety, hygiene, and licensing awareness. She also supports the implementation of key initiatives under the Street Food Program.
Athira Rana
Athira Rana has been serving as the Outreach and Partnership Manager at NASVI since 2022, where she is responsible for fundraising, partnership development, and the curation of reports and projects. She focuses on strengthening collaborations that support inclusive and sustainable livelihoods.
Dr Afreen Hussain
Dr. Afreen Hussain works on strengthening the rights and livelihoods of street vendors through advocacy, research, and stakeholder engagement. Her work focuses on grievance redressal, policy support, and building strong community networks.
Hashim Manzoor
Hashim Manzoor is a Development Communication Professional who works on documenting and communicating initiatives that support street vendors and informal workers. With a background in Development Communication, he focuses on storytelling, reporting, and amplifying grassroots voices.
TRAINERS
Vishal Anand
With over 18 years of experience, Vishal Anand leads programmes focused on urban livelihoods and street vendor empowerment. He works across India on training, enterprise development, and policy implementation, and is a certified FoSTaC trainer.
Dilip Kumar Prajapati
Dilip Kumar Prajapati manages accounts and administrative operations at NASVI. Alongside his financial role, he contributes to training initiatives for street vendors.
Kamlesh Upadhyay
Working with NASVI since 2014, he manages financial operations, including cash flow, payments, tax compliance, and accounting processes. He also conducts training sessions for street food vendors on food safety, hygiene, and business practices.
Rajeev Kumar
With over two decades at NASVI, Rajeev Kumar is a FoSTaC-certified trainer working on street food programmes and vendor training. He actively promotes awareness around food safety, licensing, and regulations.
Raushan Kumar Chaudhary
Raushan Kumar Chaudhary brings over 13 years of experience in development sectors including public health and livelihoods. At NASVI, he focuses on vendor welfare, training, and strengthening community engagement.
