Shri Nitesh Kumar Mishra, Designated Officer (DO), along with Shri Laxmikant Yadav and Shri Tuleshwar Singh, Food Safety Officers from the Food Safety Department, Surguja, Ambikapur, participated in the Serve Safe Food (SSF) Training Programme.
The programme was the *first dedicated training initiative for street food vendors in Ambikapur, Surguja, focusing on the importance of *FoSTaC training, food safety, personal hygiene, and safe food handling practices. The officials interacted with the participating vendors and emphasised the need to adopt hygienic and safe practices while preparing and serving food.
On the occasion, the officials also distributed training certificates and hygiene kits to the street food vendors, encouraging them to follow food safety and hygiene standards in their daily operations.
