A Street Food Safety Awareness Program was organised by Nagar Nigam Rudrapur in Rudrapur to promote hygiene, safe food handling, and public health among street food vendors. The programme aimed to build awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness, following food safety standards, and ensuring the well-being of consumers.
NASVI was invited to participate and shared valuable insights on food safety, vendor training, and strengthening the capacity of street vendors through continuous awareness and skill development. The session also highlighted the need for collective efforts by local authorities and vendor organisations to create safer and healthier street food environments.
Such initiatives play an important role in empowering street vendors with knowledge, improving their livelihoods, and building consumer confidence in street food.
