The declaration of a No-Vending Zone in Mussoorie has put the livelihoods of nearly 280 street vendors at risk.
NASVI has written to the municipal authorities demanding the restoration of vending zones, an end to arbitrary actions, and fair implementation of the Street Vendors Act to protect vendors’ right to livelihood.
Street vendors need regulation, not removal.
