The first supplies of food aid reached in Nepal, on Wednesday, while thousands clamoured to board buses out of Kathmandu, either to check on rural relatives or for fear of spending yet another night in the damaged capital. NASVI along with her partner NIDAN and StreetNet International is providing our regional partner NEST affiliated families with access to food in hard-hit neighborhoods of Kathmandu and surrounding areas.
The distribution was planned for late morning, and over the next few hours they distributed a total of 8 Tons of Rice, Dhal, Salt and Oil to 131 households in Katmandu.
