NASVI SAFE FOOD GAME

The Safe Food Game is an interactive, quiz-based learning tool designed to help street food vendors understand essential food safety practices such as hygiene, safe food handling, and maintaining clean vending environments. Developed in a simple and engaging format, the game translates technical guidelines into easy, relatable questions, allowing vendors to learn in a way that connects directly with their everyday work.

Launched on 7 April 2026 by National Association of Street Vendors of India in New Delhi, the initiative marks a shift towards more innovative and accessible approaches to training within the street vending sector. By moving beyond traditional classroom-style sessions, NASVI aims to make food safety education more practical, inclusive, and easier to adopt for vendors across different contexts.
