Training Seminar “Analysing Trade Union Transformation and changing Industrial Relations through the Power Resources Approach” was organised by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) at Hotel Jaypee Vasant Continental, Vasant Vihar, Basant Lok, New Delhi on 4th October, 2017.
Patrick Ruether, Head of FES India Office welcomed all guests. Mirko Herberg, Head of FES Global TU Programme, Berlin introduced the project “Trade Unions in Transformation”. Michael Fichter, Member of FES Steering Committee explained the “Power Resource Approach”. Arbind Singh, National Coordinator NASVI and Sachin Kumar, Assistant Professor and Co-Author explained “Theory into action – Experiences with the approach in India (NASVI)”. Edward Webster, University of Witwatersrand/ South Africa; Member of the FES Steering Committee also shared his views on “Insights from transformation cases in Africa”
