NASVI coordinator Arbind Singh and Program Manager Mukut Sarma met Honorable Rajya Sabha MP Shri.Mani Shankar Aiyar on 28^th July at his residence to discuss the issue of eviction of street vendors in the pretext of the Commonwealth Games. NASVI initiated the meeting soon after he raised his voice against the irregularities happening in the management of the mega sports extravaganza in the capital. Mani Shankar Aiyar promised that he will write to Honorable Prime Minister raising the concern of the street vendors. He was very pessimistic about the Delhi Government on this issue as he feels that the government is not sensible on these issues. He advised the NASVI delegation to organize the street vendors of Delhi and demonstrate in front of Commonwealth Stadiums.
